How to Save space on your netbook

To save hard drive space on your Windows XP netbook, make sure to uninstall software applications which you rarely use. You can do this through searching to Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs and choosing exactly which programs will get the boot. To make it easier for you, Windows will tell you how frequently you use an application, so you can quickly determinewhich programs are useless.

Windows XP itself also has a range of default applications installed, lots of of which you may also not need. To remove these, again browse to Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs, as well as this time click on the Add/Remove Windows Components button. You can now un-tick applications you want to remove, as well as save yourself even more storage space.
