How to Back up your emails

Depending on your email client, you may get a way to backup the emails built in. However, not lots of have this facility, or if they do, it’s pretty basic. So, you will generally need to rely on a third-party program. If you use Mozilla Thunderbird, then there's an excellent program, called MozBackup which will backup all of your email, and believe it or not even some extensions, your addressbook and more. For Outlook and Outlook express users, there's a couple of choices, Fab’s autobackup will backup a number of Windows programs including your Outlook and Outlook Express emails, settings and address book. You can download it fromhttp://tinyurl.com/8f8rac. An alternative is Genie Mail Backup which is specifically created to back up Outlook, Outlook Express and Windows Mail (Vista). It’s a commercial product, but you can download a 30-day trail from genie-soft.com.
