Aircel offers Facebook Updates on SMS

Aircel,the most well known mobile operator in India ,introduced a new feature of Facebook updates on SMS service to both
prepaid and postpaid
subscribers.
Now user can do lot of fun from their mobile phones through SMS,they can
post status updates,
comment, like, poke,respond to friend requests and more. .on a ordinary phone
without any need of
GPRS or internet.

How To Enable Fabebook SMS service ?

well its so simple that you may need to follow this steps.

*Go to Facebook and log in to
you account, 

*Go to Account
Settings tab, under the ‘Mobile’ tab, select ‘Register for Facebook Text Messages.

*Select ‘Aircel India ’ as your mobile provider from
drop down menu list and select
India as a country ,followed by Aircel
India as you carrier and press
next. 

*Now using your mobile
phone, send a new text message containing only the letter F to 51555 (SMS charges at 50 paisa) and just a moment wait for a message, after receiving the SMS from 51555, simply enter activation/confirmation code mentioned in the SMS on the facebook verify page to enable this service.
All done well! Now your friends can post status updates,
comment, like, poke and
more. 

To post status updates
on Facebook profile, just
write SMS (your status)and send it to
51555 thats it.
