Change the default location of program installation?

First click on Start button then type Regedit in Run option.

Here locate the location to:
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
Double click on ProgramFileDir and here its default value is
C:\Program Files.

Now modify the value to any other drive (for example D:\Program Files).

Now close the registry editor and restart your computer after any changes to go into effect.
